Hi! Iām Daniyal, MS, CNS, CFNC.
Hello, I'm Daniyal and I want to welcome you to the Functional Foodie Nutrition! I am passionate about nutrition after struggling with my own health issues that led me to the power of food as medicine. In conventional medicine, we often overlook the influence that food has on our bodies, and don't recognize that it either fuels us or hurts us. Rooted in evidence-based science, my goal is to help empower you to have a positive relationship with food and use it as a modality to heal your body, no matter if you have a diagnosis or simply want to learn to eat healthier. With your collaboration, I will use Medical Nutrition Therapy to create a personalized food plan that is right for you.
My Approach
I believe that everyone has the innate ability to tune into their bodies and contribute to their own healing. I use a whole-person approach to wellness, meaning I recognize that our body systems work together. Seeing the body as a whole entity instead of categories like cardiology, endocrinology, etc. is a paradigm shift in the way we think about healthcare and it gives us leverage to advance your healing. Together, you and I will take a look at your eating habits, medical history, lab work, lifestyle and other key factors that help me determine the right plan for you. I am truly dedicated to seeing you succeed and find your inner healing.
