Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refund Policy for Consultations

• Non-Refundable Once Completed: All consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation has been provided or substantially begun.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

• Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@thefunctionalfoodienutrition.com
• 24 business hours’ notice is required to reschedule without penalty
• Cancellations with less than 24hrs notice do forfeit the late cancellation fee of $97
• You are entitled to 3 free reschedules within the notice timeframe through the program
• Additional reschedules after 3 free ones may be charged a $97 rescheduling fee
• Rescheduling is subject to practitioner availability

No-Shows

• If you do not show up to a scheduled consultation, the full session fee is forfeited
• No refunds are issued for no-shows
• We may contact you to confirm future appointments

"Root Cause Reset" 6-Month Coaching Program

• Program Cost: $3,000
• Program Duration: 6 months
• Payment Structure: Full payment upfront
• Deposit of $900 + 6 equal payments of $450

Refund Policy — Option A: Non-Refundable Programs

• Program fees are non-refundable once enrollment begins
• You may cancel at any time, but no refunds will be issued for unused sessions or program time
• If you cancel mid-program, you forfeit all remaining sessions and program benefits

Program Cancellation

• Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@thefunctionalfoodienutrition.com
• Cancellation is effective upon receipt of written notice
• Upon cancellation, you forfeit access to the patient portal

Session Rescheduling Within Programs

• Individual sessions within programs may be rescheduled
• Rescheduling requests must be submitted 24hrs in advance
• You are entitled to 3 free reschedules per program
• Sessions not rescheduled within 24 time period are charged a no-show fee of $97

What's Included

• Ordering labs (GI Map, DUTCH hormone test, comprehensive blood analysis), interpretation, follow-up consultation, recommendations

Refund Policy for Lab Testing

• Lab Already Ordered: Once labs have been ordered through Fullscript, that portion of the fee is non-refundable. You may still cancel the follow-up analysis consultation.

Lab Company Policies

• Refunds and cancellations are also subject to Fullscript’s policies and procedures
• Fullscript may charge additional fees for cancellations or refunds
• You are responsible for reviewing Fullscript’s refund policy
• We are not responsible for charges imposed by the lab company

Product Purchases

• Products must be unopened/unused to be eligible for refund
• Returns must be requested within 30 days of purchase
• Shipping costs are refundable (through Fullscript only)
• Refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method
• All refunds must be handled through Fullscript directly

Damaged or Defective Products

• If you receive a damaged or defective product, contact us within 5 days with photos or evidence
• We will replace or refund the product at no additional cost

Align Your Health

• Membership Cost: $197 per month
• Membership Includes: monthly calls, ongoing protocol and supplement adjustments as needed

• Membership fees are charged monthly and are non-refundable
• You may cancel membership at any time, effective at the end of your current billing cycle
• No refunds are issued for partial months

Cancellation Process

• Upon cancellation, your access to member-only content and community is terminated
• You will no longer receive member communications or benefits

• Free resources, guides, and freebies are provided "as is"
• No refunds or compensation are available for free resources
• Access to free resources may change or be discontinued at our discretion
• We reserve the right to modify or remove free resources at any time

Refund Processing

• All refunds are processed to the original payment method
• Refunds typically process within 3-7 business days, but may take up to 14 business days depending on your financial institution
• We are not responsible for delays in processing caused by your bank or payment processor

Refund Request Process

To request a refund:

• Email your written refund request to info@thefunctionalfoodienutrition.com
• Include your name, order number or program enrollment date, and reason for refund request
• We will review your request and respond within 5 business days
• If approved, your refund will be processed within 5 business days

Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will NOT be issued for:

• Services already completed or substantially rendered
• Client cancellation without meeting cancellation deadline
• Change of mind after starting the program
• Client non-compliance or lack of engagement
• Failure to use program materials or attend sessions
• Payment disputes resolved in client's favor after service completion

Exceptions

We may consider refunds outside our standard policy in cases of:

• Technical or service failures on our end
• Serious illness or injury preventing program participation
• Death of client or immediate family member
• Other extraordinary circumstances approved by us

Requests for exceptions must be:

• Submitted in writing with detailed explanation
• Made as soon as possible after the circumstances arise
• Subject to our review and approval
• Approved exceptions MAY result in full refunds

If a dispute arises regarding refunds or cancellations:

• Informal Resolution: We will first attempt to resolve disputes informally through written communication
• Mediation: If not resolved informally, both parties may pursue mediation
• Arbitration: Final disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Georgia
